Hey I don't blame you Linda for not wanting to cook when you have temps in the 100's!!! I am grilling chicken and turkey burgers today, and so will have meat for most of the week. I figure as long as I have the grill fired up I might as well do a bunch!! Am also going to try grilled asparagus -- with my luck it will probably fall thru the rack and end up in the coals.....maybe I'll use some foil.. LOL.

B - mini wheats, 1/2 c. FF milk, 1/2 banana
L - chicken and asparagas
D - turkey burger, salad
S - SB bar, fruit & cottage cheese

Ate too many strawberries and biscuits and the scale
was "nasty" this morning. OK, today's a new day....back
on track - strawberries are gone now and so are the biscuits.

Keep cool, sweet lady.

Hi All, Just wanted to add my two cents... I found a mesh-like grill rack at walmart for grilling smaller and more delicate foods. It was less than $20 and works great for veggies, fish, anything that would fall thru the grates. You just set it on top of your regular grill grates and has side lift up handles to remove if you want to grill larger foods.  I started keeping track of my intake on fit-day and found I'm consuming more than I would like to be. I bought this grea****ermelon and it's hard to resist. After surgery, I'll have to buy only sections of one so I don't feel like I have to eat it all at once.  Have a great day Everyone!! And Happy Father's Day to you men out there!! Alice

Sweety - cooking is greatly overrated!! As is housework, laundry and everything involving effort.   I kind of figured Connie was slender. She has an ENORMOUS heart though. What a lovely lady. I woke up with a much better disposition - good thing, I didn't even like my own company yesterday. B - cottage cheese, Kashi Go Lean, berries L - taking Tom out D - chicken cacciatore with extra veggies for me S - apple and peanut butter Annette

Cool Breezes to you, Linda! I know it's H-O-T hot there in Phoenix and will be for a while.  I wouldn't cook any more than I had to were I you in that heat.....  As long as you get your nourishment in.......  so be it! I'm still water and protein in liquid form so........   Happy Sunday sweet Linda! Kathi

I'm doing quite fine, Millie, It was one week last Thursday since surgery.  I have no pain to speak of.  I'm walking.  I'm drinking my protein and my water, getting in my quotas each day.  Sometimes it's a challenge toward the end of the day but I get there.  I sometimes do a little too fast and get some burps but that's the learning process.  I find I'm resting better at night propped up on pillows because it forces me to sleep on my back.  When I lay on my side, I sure feel it. Thanks for asking and I'm doing great! Kathi
